Volunteers against loneliness
Our voluntary visiting service – named “Volunteers against loneliness” – is attending to unmated patients in clinics and senior citizen centres at Erlangen. The committed staff helps you complete accommodation formalities, visits you during your stay, accompanies you for a walk and does some shopping for you. The visiting service offers non-German speaking patients an interpreting service to ameliorate the communication with the nursing service and the physicians.
